HUNTINGTON, WV – Ebenezer Medical Outreach in Huntington, WV offers free and charitable care to the uninsured, underinsured, and underserved. We make high-quality primary care, pharmacy, dental, and more available to hard-working neighbors who otherwise couldn’t afford it. So much more than a clinic, we also offer innovative programs promoting healthy nutrition, physical activity, recommended cancer screenings, social support, and more to help build a healthy community.
It isn’t easy – or cheap. Our innovative, impactful programs are only possible through the support of visionary grant funders who are deeply invested in our community.
Funders like the Huntington Clinical Foundation. A consistent long-time supporter of Ebenezer’s, they have most recently been crucial to the operation of our Dental Clinic. Through their support, we’ve been able to acquire the supplies and equipment needed to make quality care available to the uninsured and underserved.
They’re not to be confused with the Huntington Foundation, a more recent supporter to Ebenezer but an organization with a rich history in the region. Focused on promoting health care programs, medical education and research, and other programs enhancing the quality of life in Cabell and Wayne counties, they are supporting the expansion and increased effectiveness of our Dental Clinic by funding important equipment and software essential to our operations.
Then there’s the Pallottine Foundation of Huntington. Supporting transformative health initiatives that empower all individuals to lead lives of optimal health, self-reliance, and self-respect across 20 counties in the tri-state region, we are once again extremely honored to be a Healthy Communities Initiative partner. In 2024, this initiative helped support the launching of our new Dentist clinic, growth in our outreach, and enhancement of our food-as-medicine and community garden projects. Now in 2025, their support is going to Open My Eyes, an effort that will allow us to introduce vision-saving diabetic eye screenings and more to our clinic’s services in the year ahead. (Talk about visionary!)
