It was standing room only at Ebenezer Medical Outreach’s Open House. On Tuesday April 23, Huntington’s long-serving free and charitable clinic welcomed patients, supporters, and the public to the first floor of Fairfield’s Douglass Centre.

A major draw for those gathered was the official unveiling of Ebenezer’s new logo. The logo was designed to honor the past while providing a fresh introduction to those who do not yet know about this tremendous community resource.

The colors, images, and fonts in the new logo were all carefully selected. They communicate the sense of community, calm, trust, compassion, life, and care that set Ebenezer apart.

The logo is only one of many exciting new initiatives coming out of Huntington’s free and charitable clinic. Plans for a digital marketing campaign, hearing aid mission (May 3), and eye clinic (August 22) were announced. The community is invited to help through volunteering, donating through the Neighborhood Investment Program (which provides West Virginia tax credits to eligible donors), and spreading the word about Ebenezer.

In honor of Volunteer Appreciation Week, each care provider, Board member, and helper whose dedicated service is building a healthy community was recognized by name. Small tokens of appreciation were distributed.

Participants also enjoyed a delicious cake from Paula Vega’s Cakes decorated with the new logo. Many attendees joined tours of the facility, learning more about the rich history of care and high-quality programs Ebenezer offers the uninsured, underinsured, and Medicaid beneficiaries.
